    Prayers for Marty Herman 🙏🏻

What's the point? Any idiot can tear something down, but building something requires far greater skills. Plus, there is real grace in forgiving and letting go of all the rancid emotion required to hate. Finally, which one of you hasn't fucked-up? I have. Bad. Regretfully, I'll probably do...

This it? No retired cues/"sneaky petes". Damn shame when cue makers abandon their heritage. https://predatorcues.com/

What’s the worst cue you’ve ever bought?

I would contact Shuriken and request a replacement. Given their circumstances over the last three years, it does not surprise me that some things might have gotten by them. But even at $100, I think they intended to supply good cues and not turds. Mine plays fine. I find adjusting to the 60"...

Lil John gets barbecued in Louisville KY

I've watched Lil John for over 20 years -- back to a time when he was just a "kid" from Hattiesburg. Always barking and apparently never feared no one. Just loved action. Always dealt straight-up in my observations. I figure that down here, in the South, John is well known and well respected...

How High Or Low Do You Cue For Maximum Spin And Had Dr. Dave Ever Studied This?

All I know is as my stroke improved, the less offset was required, and resulting movement was more controlled. And since less offset was used, miscues decreased to nothing.

How High Or Low Do You Cue For Maximum Spin And Had Dr. Dave Ever Studied This?

Stroke is the key. Get it. Got it. Nothing more, or less. As far as spin, it is not exactly where you hit it (obviously you must have SOME offset from center) but how you hit it is where "maximum spin" is developed. A smooth and powerful stroke creates smooth and powerful spin.

Thanks Bob. Your puzzle was before my "time". I don't suppose it can be filled out with the keyboard (tech speak?). It looks like a good one. Further, I questioned the accuracy of my answer, but I knew it was the answer.

There's a bunch of them that I study for a minute and then go on to something else. With those, I just have to shake my head and wonder -- it must take Jeopardy Champions, but how many of them can there be? Thousands? Hundreds of Thousands? Can't be a million or we would have done cured every...

I was solving an old NYT puzzle and ran into the clue "Bank". The answer, as all good cueists know, was "carom". Even as a pool player, it took me a minute or so to come up with it. I then realized that, while not an everyday occurrence, I run into pool references all of the time as I wrestle...
