    Reviewing tip repair lathes

Just got mine today. Thanks Chris. Also got a compound cross slide to help make collets plus needed for some other situations ( don’t have a 3D printer). Probably going to need a new base for it as I now realize how much of a pain it will be to use it on my current one. Also have the larger...

Looking for a solid American cue

It is just a modified 5/16-14. Any 5/16-14 shaft can be quickly modified to fit. Their shafts are great so no big reason to worry about it, but if it does, I've heard they can be contacted to use a different pin.

    Constant Tip Shaping is annoying!

I used to have the same issue. Now I barely have to touch the tip. Here’s a link addressing this: Over working tip

A less expensive way to go is to use a slab of phenolic. Cut it into squares and once glued to the ferrule turn it down to the desired thickness. At first, I tried cutting them round, but that just wasted time and material. Square is quick and easy to make.

First legit cue build. I've been extremely humbled.

Skip Imgur and just post the images directly.
