    I have a sure method of "comparing" deflection. Works best on a 9 ft with a very tight pocket table. Place object ball 1/8 inch off rail next to first diamond on long rail from corner. Place cue ball on a spot diagonally across table with a lot of distance but far enough away from the rails...
