    Cuetec Cynergy Shaft

Does the butt of a cue really make any difference? I'm looking into getting a carbon fiber shaft, and I have a lucasi butt. Would a cuetec cynergy work well w/ a lucasi butt?

    Lucasi flexpoint vs Mcdermott g-core

All, Does anyone know the difference with these two shafts? The McDermott seemed to skinny (I lost accuracy, but gained a lot of English), and the Lucasi seems to be the opposite (too thick and can't get on the cue ball in places I would like too). However, everything I can find says the...

Question about sanding down a shaft

Well no I just wanted a more thin or more tapered shaft. I had a mcdermott g-core shaft that felt to skinny (it gave great English, but i felt I lost to much accuracy). Now, I have a Lucasi flexpoint cue - and I feel I have the exact opposite problem (Shaft to thick, can't get as much English)...

Best cue for beginner - middle of the road player

I see the carbon fiber crazy - do you think it's worth it? What are the advantages? I see that cuetec and predator make a nice carbon fiber shaft, but very pricey (to me).

Best cue for beginner - middle of the road player

What cue gives the least deflection? I'm not even sure I understand deflection - is it when you put bottom left/right top/bottom on the cue ball, and then the amount of throw that puts on the object ball?

Best cue for beginner - middle of the road player

I have been playing on an Oldhausen for about a year and a half (8ft). On a 9ft table I would probably be a "6 - 7" handicap. I've been trying different cues (McDermott G-series, Lucasi flexpoint, and a Players cue). My favorite thus far has been the players cue (Likely only because I've played...
