    Advice on Cue Tips

Its a G2 medium for me, Triangle if that not available. Rest of the layered tips I am not a fan of, had glazed Kamui's that were worse than useless.

    People bitching about 7’ tables

You made me spit coffee. That is ridiculous. Bordering on delusional. I played APA back in the mid-late 90s. There was ONE day of league a week then. Pretty much the only night other than Friday where you would see women bother to come in. The rest of the week it was gambling and tournaments...

    Build Me A Break Cue

that is what i did. I wanted a light one, 15 oz break cue. I do not recommend. Had to send the shaft back to get it replaced, got repaired instead. Was fine for about 10 breaks, then the wood threads in the shaft broke out again. Price was good ($200), just wish i hadn't got complete garbage in...

    People bitching about 7’ tables

there needs to be a law, any establishment with 7' tables, only house cues are allowed. Let the jokers that need luggage to tote their cue collection get real for a bit.

    People bitching about 7’ tables

tone is a tad caustic, expecially for a message calling for "love" and "support". imo, the only thing that has been worse for pool than 7' tables is crappy leagues.

    A moment of revelation

oh gee. lets save pool. that way there will be something on yesteryear's "TV" technology for its "sponsors" to fret about. Then I can get with 5 or 6 of my most mediocre acquaintances, and we will get all covered in APA patches and do our best to mimic 'the big guys on tv' while swaggering...

    Allison vs Grady?

saw it up on north side of atlanta remember grady jawin a few balls, watching him warm up was fun. Allison won the match, i remember being sort of annoyed w/ someone i knew at the time who kept insisting it was a setup for days afterwards. i remember one of georgia's finest inbred having a...

    Open / Closed Bridge Hybrid?

seen a few use that bridge, but always with the hand rolled over a little where the outside heel of the palm is anchored. the thumb and index finger ideally should be floating in the air at least a half-inch above the table bed.

How do you ‘unlearn’ bad habits?

those are good. pretty big for the mental side to me, but i meant a little more specific... after i started doing stroke drills, they did help a lot, but something else still lacks. for example, a perfect run to the 8 in 8 ball in a tournament; every shot i am seeing the straight lines, speed...

10 year old boy gets 147 doing a drill which to some is not the same as practice. This wasn't done during an actual game.

Matvei Lagodzinschii!!! only 10 years old?!? 10 year old Matvei Lagodzinschii wows snooker world!!! idk, i would've tried to work his name in the title somewhere. Seems to me it's warranted. That channel also has a couple of his practice matches up they livestreamed.

2 separate and distinct issues here 1. clickbaity title 2. an impressive prodigy putting on a display I am grateful to have witnessed. Marvelling how cleanly he gets through some of those follow shots.
