    hah, what's with all the cheap GCs 200+mi away close to Minneapolis and not close to here, besides the one you just posted there's a GC3 in Roberts, WI, and a GC4 in Saint Paul as well.

    thanks Trent, I will look into this and see, unfortunately I just moved here from another part of the country 6 months ago so I don't yet have a network of friends that I can lean on for something like this, so I'll have to discuss with the local store how much it would cost me to get it picked...

    hah nice catch, I had not seen this, so how does one go about getting a table 250mi away? Try and find a local mechanic to go there and pick it up, or try and find a mechanic there to look at it and take it here?

    thanks for the tips about Trent, he also replied to my "looking for a mechanic" post so I'll message him. As I was saying above 6k for now is definitely way over budget so those wouldn't work for me (they sure look great)

    Recommendation for a mechanic in Madison, WI

    Subject says it all, I am trying to find a table, and when I do I will of course need somebody to move it, put on new cloth and set it up etc. (and maybe help me find a table as well in the first place!). Does anybody have any recommendations?

    I am in Madison, WI: in the past 6 months of looking at craigslist pretty much every day I've only ever seen one GC listed (for if I remember correctly 3.5k) but that was in IL and the seller (a dealer) I think didn't want to bother coming all the way, it seemed it sold pretty quickly anyways...

    Due to some fortunate circumstances I finally have enough space for a pool table in my basement, I have only ever played in bars for fun with friends but have always wanted to actually learn to play better, which requires practice obviously. I also don't mind the idea at all of playing alone...
