    It depends on the interest; if no one plays on the table, it isn't getting changed. But you can get it changed for $600-$700, which isn't a ghastly amount for a business that wants to keep its customers happy. I wouldn't spend much time on a table with holes in the cloth. No harm in asking.

    If you put enough time on the table, ask the owner to put some new cloth on it. And if he does, definitely use it! Worked for us.
