My old Gold Crown has the non-adjustable feet. Would it be worth the time and money to convert them to adjustable? Also, are the only two options on the conversion to: 1) Buy new adjustable feet and hardware 2) Drill out and cut threads in original feet and then just get hardware to mount them...

Been able to get a little done on the the table. I’ve got all the old paint off the wood. Pedestals, aprons and ball box. Had to do a little repair on one of the pedestals but I’m pretty pleased on how it turned out. Also, hit the ashtray corners with some bar keepers friend. They cleaned up...

Those look new!! Im going to buff them again and then I got some mothers metal polish the other day that i thought i would try. What polish did you use?

I was able to buff out almost all the light scratches. Just a few of the deep ones still there.

Those look great! What color powder did you use?

In the mean time, does any have a good way to get the scratches off the feet? Bar keepers friend does a good job of cleaning, but I’d like to get out some of the scratches if I could. Before and after bar keepers:

Also tried bar keepers friend on one of the feet and I was really pleased. I hope they all clean up that well. A before and after pic. Date on the bottom of one of the feet is 2-26-63. Btw: why do my pics keep rotating?!

I only ask because I also have a gold crown 3 snooker table, and all the pocket castings are the heavier style.

Got a question about the Gold Crown pocket castings. When did they switch from heavy cast pocket castings to a thinner pot metal cast? The pool table I just purchased has a mix of pocket castings: 1-corner heavy cast 1-middle heavy cast 1-lighter metal corner (same material as ashtray corners)...

Honestly that’s the main reason I bought the table. Always thought the ashtray pockets captured the old bar room look and didnt know if I would find another set on a table. However, if I decide to part with them, I’ll let you know. Nick
