    I've had a bullet proof tip pop off after six months. If epoxy is better I would rather use that. Longevity is key.

    Looking for the best sealer for shafts. I've finished furniture, fencing, etc. And use lemon oil in the house, but apprehensive in getting Thompson's water seal. Zero chemicals are preferred. I realize sometimes you can't get around it. Thoughts please.

    Been performing cue repair fort five years. Tips, tapers by hand, ferrules including 314's. I believe I've a solid method of gluing phenolic and poly carbon tips with just glue from Atlas. Would two part apoxy be better and if so what is the best one. Thank you for the insight.

    The poly carbon/bullet proof tips are tricky, butt mine is staying on. Two tries. I'm inclined to think the fiber pad absorbs some of the energy intended fort breaking and it jumping. My success in gluing hinged on preparing the surfaces of tip and ferrule.
