I'm in a similar situation after removing some embroidered patches on an older case .. I was going to try Goo Gone until I read on their website they don't recommend using it on leather .. I haven't done anything else with the case as of yet but if I find a good non invasive solution I will post...

Great thread .. brings back a lot of good memories 👍 Back then I had a love hate relationship with McDermott .. i was younger and couldn't afford a really nice cue but I played a lot with a guy who had a McDermott and he beat the brakes off me all the time with that thing hahahaha

I was going to say the same thing about the fishing industry .. hunting and firearms world would do it as well .. win a match with our ammo or our firearm and there was always a bump on the pot for it

Fort Lauderdale area now but was up in Delray and Boynton before that. I had a local guy that came recommended by a few people do new rail rubber and Simon's 860 while I was out of town. I haven't seen it yet but have seen other tables he has done and they played well. I will let you know more...

Too bad I just had the table done a week ago so it would be all ready when I got back home

Very nice. My Monday and Thursday league nights here look about the same with one place having 22 tables and the other with 25. I'm sure the full bar and good food for a hall probably help with filling the places up

I'm not sure about their clasp issues as all mine are older cases but I will say I was going to buy a case as a gift for someone and emailed them twice about 2 months ago with no reply from them. Long story short I won't be buying another Instroke case

As a competitive shooter and owner of several hundred firearms. I definitely get the analogy with firearms as I have many customs for competition but most of my CCW weapons are basically stock with exception of night sights .. lazer or flashlight

Id tend to agree with this .. my kids are both in their 20s and appreciate the beauty of some of my older cues but have ZERO interest in trying to shoot with them .. their normal players are all Cuetecs
