    SVB v. Fedor Gorst

Shane has everything to prove in the Mosconi Cup. At the moment, Shane is a bit like Josh Allen for the Buffalo Bills. Will go down as a GOAT, but doesn't perform in the biggest event (NFL Play-offs / Mosconi Cup).

Pool.house London - from the founders of TopGolf

Absolutely, but if you're going there with the expectation of having a normal pool game then that's wrong. It's definitely catered for casual players. Some of the videos on YouTube look quite fun.

    SVB v. Fedor Gorst

The Mosconi Cup is the biggest event in pool and creates the most pressure for players. It's pool's equivalent of the Super Bowl or Ryder Cup. Listen to what SVB said about the Mosconi in a podcast earlier. Starts at 1:13:40 and I think if you click play below, it takes you there.

    SVB v. Fedor Gorst

The pockets on these tables are too big. No wonder Fedor looks great on these tables, but struggles in the Mosconi on 4 inch pockets.

    SVB v. Fedor Gorst

And what did Fedor do in the Mosconi?

    SVB v. Fedor Gorst

SVB and Fedor should spend more time practising for the Mosconi. Nobody cares about a race to 50. We care about the Mosconi

Sofia Mast "retiring?" The state of American pool

This is sad. We really need more sponsors in pool. I really don't get why professional pool can't get gambling companies interested.

US Open and Mosconi coming to ESPN

Matchroom should try to get Joe Rogan as commentator for the Mosconi.

US Open and Mosconi coming to ESPN

Wow, brilliant news. Well done to Matchroom. I think it will be ESPN + rather than the cable channel, but still way better than WNT TV, which doesn't have an app.

$1.5M first place prize for Chinese tournament next week

Playing in the Reyes Cup is something I'm sure he wants to do.

$1.5M first place prize for Chinese tournament next week

Prize money is so stupid. Quarter finalist only gets $22,000? If I was a top player, I wouldn't bother with these events.

$1.5M first place prize for Chinese tournament next week

These Chinese players are lucky that SVB, Fedor and Bergman don't enter these events.

    Good. I'm Team Fedor.

    Justin Bergman signed with Viking

Very smart decision. Bergman is one of the most popular players in the USA.

UK Open 2026, London, May 26-31

They should be playing 10 ball. That's the truest form of rotation pool. If Filler wants to play 9 ball rather than 10 ball then that's a cowardly move.

I find Predator PBS events to be considerably better product for fans than WNT events

YouTube is backed by a trillion dollar company. WNT TV doesn't have the same investment behind it. But I do agree that WNT TV desperately needs an app on the TV.

I find Predator PBS events to be considerably better product for fans than WNT events

They could, but better for them to do a World 8 Ball or World 10 Ball. The World Championship label carries a lot of interest for fans and sponsors I am interested why Predator don't call their country events the "World Cup". Is the World Cup a protected event by Matchroom?

I find Predator PBS events to be considerably better product for fans than WNT events

No. The only event Predator can't do is a World Championship 9 Ball event. Matchroom own the rights.

SJM Trip Report: 2026 WNT UK Open a Big Hit

The conditions at the UK open definitely suited Filler. Pockets were generous and he had a easy run to the title. Fedor got Khalid and Capito in his first 2 matches. Filler got Appleton and Nigel Smith in his first 2 matches, easy wins. How is that fair? Fedor is WNT 1 so he should not be...
