If I was Bergman I would be annoyed. Predator/WPA used him to promote the St Louis event and if it wasn't for him, that event would have been empty. And now they don't invite him to this.

Billy might have done well at the US Open but I don't trust him in the Mosconi. He doesn't have a very good safety game and the Europeans will exploit that. In the Mosconi, you don't get many break and runs, so safety play is super important. Bergman and Skyler for me.

Race to 11 is too short for a major final IMO. Race to 13 is perfect.

I suspect ESPN told Matchroom "you have 3 hours". But a great event overall and good to see Matchroom / WNT back on track. They need to host the World 9 Ball Championship in the USA.

Would be sickening to see a soft breaker win this.

This is Matchroom's fault. ESPN have a schedule and they need to stick with it. Matchroom should have limited breaks to ensure game finished before college football.

A shame, but I don't think we could have asked for a much better advert for pool. Close game with lots of quality.
