    Lowest deflection kielwood

That’s basically what I said. They’re finished in different ways. I wear a glove because I live in one of the most humid cities on earth. Don’t like gloves to be honest. The Hayakawa shaft I have is the smoothest of the KW shafts I’ve tried. Lot of people fanboying over Hsunami now that KW has a...

Take all of the weight out of your break cue

Please post your results! I won’t be putting weight back in anytime soon

I’d rather listen to Vietnamese rabbiting on than Phil Yates (+whoever they decide to chuck in with him at the time), rabbit on about nonsense. Surely there is someone more knowledgeable, and more charismatic?

Watching top flight players negotiate games for the cheese

Agree, unwritten rules and social standards can be infuriating, and ultimately limiting of freedom. We do have our own in Europe (relative to our respective countries) and the US. We just don’t lean so heavily onto the sword when they’re challenged (though my experience with some Americans has...

Johan back at 2026 Mosconi Cup Healm

I believe they will wear a combination of Athletic jerseys and Jorts. Non-playing captains is dumb.

Yes, these guys are smart. I guess ego is more apparent in these kind of scenarios and match-ups in East Asia due to 'face' being a big part of the culture. So it was probably more interesting to me, as I am watching a person deal with finding the way to present the right kind of 'face' (it's...

You're not as smart as King Wang 😋 I won't put names out into the open space like this, just because it is impolite to do so. Can DM you the details if you want to know :)

Well then, let's simply say, 'great by my estimation', one of the most stylish and aggressive players I can think of.

I’d love to see more crossover between American and Chinese table players. Some of the guys who never touch the American table are frighteningly good.

Watching top flight players negotiate games for the cheese

There is a crew of them that generally roll in a pack. They regularly rock up and chill at my local hall (I guess the city is a good transit point between home and mainland for them), they lounge around, eat bing long and play the odd game. It's pretty cool to watch them play, or even ask them...

Taiwanese. And I agree with you, the difference in attitudes to playing and making games is different all around the world as a result of our respective cultures. I do feel that the attitude, and the 'hustle' involved in match-ups is different in East Asia, compared to other parts of the world...

Insightful comment. Agree with you, it’s complex. Was just odd for me to see a player I really respect totally shook. Could see through the body language/attitude.

Been a while since I posted an 'experience' here. The other night I had a chance to play with one of the better foreign guys who had been playing in the Duya in Qingdao. He's from the same neck of the world as me, and he was chilling in Shanghai waiting to move onto somewhere else. Humbling to...

    Fedor’s “new” chalk…

It's made in China, and I am sure upwards of 20 other companies have their chalk made in the same place (Tuen, Wooldrigdge, Lambros and other stuff aimed at China market mostly etc etc etc) I know this comment is supposed to be funny, but it's actually pretty close to the mark lol

Do enlighten me, I am not sure I understand :ROFLMAO: (It's a combination of a nickname I've had since a child, and, well, break and run lol)

    Fedor’s “new” chalk…

He just gave me blue, so I went with it. Works well on my break, jump and playing cue. It's softer than the chalk I replaced it with, but not discernibly messier.

I find the medium to be awesome. Plays into a medium/hard after a day or two. Zero mushrooming, Zero complaints. Good work! Great product. My friend sent me over a load, as it's certainly cheaper buying them in the US than it is in China!

    Fedor’s “new” chalk…

The first half of mine wore down quicker than the chalk I was using previously, but seems to hit the point of either an optical illusion or infinity, as I feel like I have been at half a cube for an eternity now. Got 4 cubes of the blue one, and really see no reason to switch. Grabs nice, it's...
