Mezz older than 2010 all played well. New ones just play strange to me...

Who makes best quality pool tables construction wise? Rasson, Diamond or Predator? Why?

New Mezz cues are hit or miss, old ones are way better and each play well. I like their basic maple shaft best.

That much money would be better invested in a good shaft such as Predator Vantage that I recommend for your level. It would hold value unlike Action and give you better cue experience when used with your old cue. I spent & lost lots of money by buying production cues, better invest in Predator...

Brian why did you stop making cues? What do you do now?

Anybody with experience with Gold Rush cues? How they play, build quality, resale value?

I did not pay attention to sound, if you get 1 layer tip and dont shape it to be sharp it would sound different than stock tip and its default shape. It is LD, I dont really like predator so did not compare. Its similar to Mezz ignite. Its finish is the best, slides nicely, probably the best.

I have Tiger Fortis 12.5mm shaft and it plays amazing. Very good for long shots. I did not like sniper tip and changed to kamui. Probably best fiber or one of.

I had regular mezz shaft, wx700, sigma and ignite, I love Mezz regular wooden shaft, sigma and ignite impressed me at the begining but I always make more balls with regular mezz shaft.

Shaft needs cleaning, I did not want to do cosmetic stuff & cleaning etc so that someone may think that cue is refinished... Cue is used a lot and has small dings on the butt from years of use, did not see any damage on the shaft. Rolls straight and plays great.
