    Early Predator Weight Bolts

I'm short-ish (between 5'9-10) and prefer playing on 9-foot tables. I use mine quite a bit. Every one of my playing cues has the extension butt cap. It's extremely rare for me to need the bridge since i started using the extensions.

    Early Predator Weight Bolts

Yeah, my 2010 has that bolt also. Fun tidbit: the hole in the butt of mine was almost exactly the drill diameter for an M16x1.5 tap, which is what the extension butt thread is. So i was able to retro the new uniloc extension on it with no issues. Took like 10 minutes.

Omega billiards - Revo shafts going to $549.00 on 10-1-25

I'm well aware Predator makes Revo.... I was under the impression the carbon tubes were imported, but that apparently is not the case. Either way i'm sure they're getting hit on materials to some degree.

    Josh Filler 2025 results

Josh's cute is mainly cocobolo, I think. It's WAY lighter in color than that.

Omega billiards - Revo shafts going to $549.00 on 10-1-25

It's likely because much of the best carbon manufacturing is in southeast Asia. Same goes for bikes. Thanks tariffs...

Worst Pro Match Meltdown You Seen

I am incapable of understanding guys that lose their cool and start being idiots. I understand playing embarrassingly bad and being frustrated with yourself, but do as I do: pack your shit, have a beer, and go home. But I think I'm in the minority in that I play because I love the game. My cues...

    Diamond Professional Delivery Time

Good info from responders. I'm planning on moving in June '26 and ordering a 9' Professional. Guess I'll be looking at tables first... <shrugs>

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

Agree, but I will say their gloves are excellent, but that's subjective because they fit me perfectly. Hands are a pain to find a fit for.

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

Working on getting caught up with the dude's 10b and dudette's 9b opens and I've just got 1 thing to say so far: DEAR GOD PREDATOR: USE A TEMPLATE!!! Half the racks have been slugs... Develop your own template, I don't care (hell, I'd probably buy it). I've been a Big Cat fan my whole pool life...

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

I like the best of 3 sets to 4 with winner break. It gives the ability to put packs together while also giving a chance to return serve. Best of both worlds. Also has natural breaks built in for the players/officials/fans.

    2025 Men's World 10-Ball Championship, Sept. 20-28 -- General Comments Thread

There have been some brow-raising moments with the Arc this tournament (at least table 1). There have been a few balls around the sides that have rolled really weird.

Worst Pro Match Meltdown You Seen

I think Albin has to be near the top of the "fallen from grace" category. I read meltdown and immediately thought "does Earl even count?"

SVB shouldn’t be allowed to turn hearing aids off?

He may not be tall but in those days he was shaped like a 55gal drum. :ROFLMAO:

    WPA vs WNT break format

Seconded. I can get pretty consistent with a 10b template and no break box (i play for a second row ball in the side, generally). 9b is another story though. 1 on the spot with no break box is hilariously easy. Wing is wired as long as you get most of the 1 and if you have the right angle you...

Muscle up « and » play pool!

I can't play the day of or after a heavy shoulder or chest lift due to soreness/tightness, but in general once your body adjusts to lifting it should recover more quickly and your game should come back. Strength - especially core strength - is a big part of the game. You're not going to play...

What do you think would happen if there were no handicaps, in any leagues or tournaments, and all tournaments were Open to all skill levels?

As much as i hate handicaps for myself (if i'm gonna get the brakes beat off me by a better player, so be it), i agree. Handicaps keep the game fun for people that wouldn't be competitive straight-up. Now HOW you handicap is a bar-brawl subject, but that's the nature of it. I do think it's a lot...

    China Open

That's what 9-ball is for. <shrugs> Also, you can play combos/caroms on the 10, it just doesn't win the game. Spot up and play on.

Was it a mistake to get a unilock playing cue? It keeps making a rattling noise whenever there is vibration.

Seconded, my Roadline did the same and it was the weight bolt. I've had many UniLoc cues (my 15yo Predator is still perfectly tight). The key - as with any joint - is to keep it clean. I also cast a little "pen" out of bike chain wax and will put just a lil bit of that on the threads after...

    Pat Fleming....Ok????

That's why you choose your routes wisely. I generally recommend people ride gravel roads if they're accessible because there's always less traffic and generally the traffic is more considerate (at least in my experience). I'm more worried about drivers in the suburb i live in than i am in...
