Bye bye spare bedroom, Hello 12×28 (shop)

I will double down on an earlier post. You can never have enough outlets in a shop. I thought I went overboard and found out I could use even more.

    Which Center Drill?

What is the most commonly used center drill size for cue making? I had a piece come loose when machining on a CNC and not sure if I failed to tighten the piece enough or if the center managed to blow out some.

    Keeping Finish Off Joint

Thank you for your reply! If you make the Delrin mandrels a few though under-sized, don't you still have the same issue? I know that joint is crucial so I would think you would need to keep the coating completely off of that. I wouldn't think you would want to scrape off any clear that got on...

    PPG's Deltron DC-2000

Has anyone used PPG's Deltron DC-2000? PPG says the only product they recommend for wood is DAU75. That is slow drying and cannot be wet sanded and polished like an automotive clear. Perhaps it is ok to use the DC-2000 if the wood is selaed first with epoxy or perhaps PPG does not recommend...

Thank all of you for the information. @kgoods, do you have multiple ports below the v-opening or just one on the side? I am not sure what I am seeing in the groove in the middle and at one end. If only a single port, I would think it would have good flow near the port but very poor flow as you...

    Dust and Fume Extraction

What do you use for dust and fume extraction at your sanding and finishing workbench? I purchased an inexpensice fume hood fan and that would not work well unless it was inside an enclsore. I returned that and bought a Penn State dust collector head and that may be overkill. Perhaps a squirell...
