    2x2 or 2x3 Case

Need a smaller case to take my cues for when I’m traveling for work. Only need a 2x2 or 2x3 case to take my playing and breaking cue. Plus some miscellaneous gear (Cue holder, bridge head, extension, chalk, glove, alcohol wipes). What’s the best hard case that’s nice and compact? Prefer a non...

    Small Diameter Shafts Under 11.8mm

For those of you that shoot with a shaft that is smaller than 11.8mm would you explain to me why you prefer such a small diameter shaft. I personally use the 11.8mm cynergy shaft and I feel like that offers a lot of control already but I am still intrigued to try the 10.5mm cynergy shaft.

    Christmas Miracle

Managed to convince the higher-ups at my work to not only replace the pool table felt but to also get a brand new set of Aramith Premiums. Truly, a Christmas miracle.

Sold Aramith Black Billiard Balls with Predator Case

Bought a new set of Aramith Black billiard balls but unfortunately, it appears that the pool hall that I like going to doesn’t have the best pockets. Balls are brand new never been played with just transported in the case. Case is also for the most part brand new just used it to transport the...

Happy holidays to my friends here on AZ!!

Happy Holidays. I hope all of you go to your local shop to “take a look” and “accidentally” walk out with some new billiard gear.

    Are Jump Cues Worth It

Update: After using the propel a few times I can say it was definitely worth it. Makes jumping a lot easier compared to using a break cue. Still definitely requires practice to get good at it but it’s already saved me in two matches. The best way to describe it is moving houses in a dedicated...

    Are Jump Cues Worth It

    Are Jump Cues Worth It

Just wondering what you guys think about jump cues. Currently have a Cuetec Cynergy Truewood and a Cynergy Breach. Been debating on a Cynergy Propel for a while now. Didn’t mind buying a break and playing cue since they are used quite often. Just wondering, how often are you guys using your...

    Dynasphere Vanadium

Yeah I was very surprised at how good Dynaspheres cue ball is. I was honestly disappointed that the Aramith Red Measles got dirty so quickly

    Dynasphere Vanadium

Was looking to buy a set of Dynasphere Vanadium. Does anyone know of any places that I can buy it from? Would prefer in the US After trying the Super Aramith Pros and the Dynasphere Golds, I have to say that I prefer the Dynaspheres. Mostly due to how clean their cue ball stays. Had two chalk...

Meet Efren Reyes - So Cal

I don’t believe so. Best bet is to keep in touch with your local pool halls.

    New Dynasphere - Xenon

I like it for when I’m doing drills. Helps to see how accurate my shots are. Both in terms of intentional spin applied and unintentional spin applied depending on the drill.

    New Dynasphere - Xenon

I prefer a measles ball otherwise I would’ve bought them already haha

    New Dynasphere - Xenon

Unfortunate that these will be poly resin. If this color scheme with a measles ball was made in phenolic it would fly off the shelf.

    New Dynasphere - Xenon

Seems like Dynasphere just released some new pool balls. The Xenon set looks very promising. Traditional colors and a measles ball. The description has it listed as Dynaphex resin. Does anyone know if this is still an equivalent to phenolic resin? Also if anyone knows the price it would be...

What set of balls do you recommend to get?

Super Aramith Pro is best bang for buck out of the high end sets in my opinion. If you wait for bed bath and beyond to have a 25% off coupon you can get them for about ~$300 out the door.

9/10 Ball - Billiard Ball Case

I noticed that on my Aramith case. You can pull the foam insert out and flip it so that the zipper will be in contact with the big gap where the bottle normally goes. This way the zipper won’t contact the balls. Update: looking at the manufacturer pictures it seems like that’s the proper way...

Budget Friendly Pool Halls For Practicing - Southern California

I’ve met a couple of retired folks or people who are training for tournaments who are taking advantage of the monthly plan. Also to be fair I’ve been to places in LA where they are charging up to $28/hour for playing. When I heard the rate I ended up walking out. Some places in LA charge a...
