Read every word and trashing is not what I took away from his comments. I read him saying there are better cheaper ways of achieving the same goal. And I would bet that Bob has tried similar devices and his opinion is formed by experience.

This is a discussion forum. Bob’s expertise is beyond reproach. IMO he was not trashing it , more saying there are better options. Your sensitivity seems to suggest you have some attachment to this training aid. Rather than call Bob out, how about you elaborate on why you think Bob is wrong...

I am 55 love the game, play every day at home and go to the local room 2-3 times a week. The guys I regularly play 1hole with are all over 65 and the two I play the most are 75 & 87. Sometimes I play pretty even sometimes they torture me.
