I like mine from Curran. They're single vision. Played with contacts for a while, but they get can dry if you don't blink for a while. I think I don't blink much if at all during my pre-shot and shot.

I will say that I've seen Dennis play one pocket on a 4 1/8" Diamond (not the new black labels, which have a more forgiving facing angle) with super worn cloth, and he had absolutely no issue. I also saw a 750 beat the nine ball ghost pretty easily on that same table.

It's tough to tell how much room the 9 gives to get on the 3. If it's too tight then I'd definitely try what Sky tried. If there's room, I'd probably try to get mostly full on the 3. Even if you have a small angle away from the 4 it's fine. If you get thin on the 4, you can always hit he gap...

He's right at the end of his stroke when shooting the 1.. Looks like he hit that 1 too thick/soft because of that. Should've pulled out the bridge. He also caught the corner-pocket point to scratch in the side, which was a bit unlucky. Just a hair more outside or a hair thicker to avoid that...

A CF tube for a butt probably weights from -3-8oz depending on the diameter and wall thickness. Light, but they can obviously be weighted

In my experience only 1p and sometimes banks is played with edge of ball. I think DCC does it for 9b just to be consistent with the other two formats.
