That is very true and I have used all thread for a few extensions and one cue. I just find it easier to keep the cue true to the joint screw with the unthreaded part. I bore the hole so that it's a more precise fit than the live tooling for the threads. I'm not that experienced with the live...

I did think about that and that may be the way I ultimately go considering it won't affect the performance of the shafts to bore the threads a few thousandths.

No, same story with Unique. I found one vendor on Amazon who may have them if the photo is to be believed. The only description given is "for 3 8 10 joint". Other than that, the other problem with this vendor is the 2 - 3 week shipping time. I assume the product is coming from China...

I did check Cuefits but they only have two styles of 3/8-10 pins, one standard V-Groove fully threaded (no self-aligning section) and one modified with the self aligning section. I'm looking for the V-Groove style with the self aligning section.
