Absolute beauty! I wish Joss still had models like this

What older players who still play have changed to CF?

Depends how old you are talking. In pro pool, the carbon/wood ratio has more to do with region than age. Pretty much all the middle aged European players I see are using carbon, while in Asia there are even very young players using wood.

    predator logo on forearm

I think it's because they want their specialty cue to be known only by the Brand + Model (like a BK Rush), rather than a playing cue where people value good design aesthetics.

    predator logo on forearm

Break cues and jump cues tend to be uglier in general

    Just curious about Meucci.

The quality on the ones I've seen in real life has been excellent, I actually think they look better than the stock images. I bought an ANW-1 and it has this beautiful rainbow coat that people actually compliment in real life. I played against a guy who won a Casino 1 and it was immaculate...

    Best Playing Cue Builder

It's crazy how much they charge for their cues On Seybert's I see these very simple looking Predator cues released today, and they are charging $2700 for them.

Questions about the designs of Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series

I think it looks better than the SVBs and the Truewoods are quite boring for $1000 + cues. I think the Opt-Xs and ERA series look best.

    Irish linen

Linen wraps easily look the coolest. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing one out of all the pro pool I've been watching recently, I see just wrapless or leather wraps. Which makes sense, because Predator and Cuetec don't have any linen wrap options on their higher end cues.

    Howdy. Intro and some musings.

I play there, I didn't realize the tables were over 60 years old!

Efren Reyes vs. Fedor Gorst Live NOW at Amsterdam Billiards

Baldwin Billiards in New York seems to have those too. I used to wonder what it was for when I was younger, before I knew what straight pool was.

    RAXX Pool Room????

Do the 9 footers really only have 4.25 inch corner pockets? That makes me feel good because I actually shot decently on them

    ''Kicking Out''.... Your Forward Foot

Finding a good stance has been by far the most difficult thing in my pool journey. For a while, I was just approaching the table in a way that just felt most natural, but unfortunately this seems to lead to crowding + flared out elbow.

    A little love for Meucci?

Very nice! This is worth reintroducing in their "Classics" lineup

    A little love for Meucci?

So they actually improved then? To my knowledge, all of their current cues have inlays. And they actually look better in real life then on the website.

    New SVB Cuetec?

A random idea I had, is that Cuetec should expand their Avid ERA series to include their take on stuff like Titlist cues. I would actually buy something like that.

    Apa nationals and pressure

I assumed the ugly layouts were mostly he result of the 2nd ball break (in attempt of making an 8 on the break)
