    A little love for Meucci?

Current bid at $300. Those people are nuts. 🤣🤣

Meucci Originals 84-3 (Fully refinished by Meucci)

Bump. $785 + shipping. A very fair price, IMO. If you don't love it, send it back in same condition for a full refund, including outbound shipping (you pay return shipping & insurance).

How do you find your opponent's weakness?

I think an intentional bad break to start with, leaving a nice big cluster and very few open balls, might give some insights to how they approach the game. Are they patient and strategic, or just get frustrated and blast the pile? That alone could help shape some strategy.

How do you find your opponent's weakness?

I had a team member in leagues who would try to get in a better player's head with (seemingly) earnest questions. "I can't get any rhythm in my stroke. Do you exhale as you stroke the ball, or hold it until after?" "How do you shoot so straight with your elbow in that position?" "I gotta try...

Highest percentage way to shoot this with BIH, playing Back Pocket 9 Ball

Oh, I'm definitely playing a 2-rail bank shot... Because I'm an idiot. 😁

LePro tips are absolutely comparable and another good choice.

    Nope. It's a different one.

    A little love for Meucci?

I think Bob's story is fascinating, and it mimics so many other entrepreneurs who had to try many times before they really hit their stride. It all finally came together at Olive Branch, and he definitely used his experiences to make it count. In many ways, he was a visionary well beyond the...

    A little love for Meucci?

OMG... I've seen some garbage, but that's absurd. Almost sold an 84-3 cue that I picked up. It has the straightest Originals shaft I've seen to date (including my own). Thank goodness it didn't pan out. The Kamui tip on mine delaminated while playing Friday night. Cleaned up the other one to...

Meucci Originals 84-3 (Fully refinished by Meucci)

Someone loved her, once upon a time. They played with this cue so much, they wore the wrap all the way through in places. They didn't take care of her, though. Once she eventually became dirty and started to show her age, she was eventually discarded (likely for a newer model). I just couldn't...

What beginner pool tip do you wish you learned sooner?

First lesson I ever took, the guy absolutely insisted I change to a closed bridge. I wish I hadn't listened, because my open bridge was fine and I find myself reverting back after decades. My tip... embrace your own "best" stroke. One can improve without compromising what feels natural.

    Springfield Cues CF shaft reviews?

Just my own two cents here... Unlike most (or all) others posting on this topic, I've actually visited Springfield Cues, met Doug and learned a lot about him, his passion and the hard work he's put into this. Isolated complaints from years ago don't carry much weight, IMO. Every business has...

Do the best players you know have OCD or perfectionistic qualities moreso than the average person??

I don't know much about OCD and there is a wide spectrum of players, from the very casual to the very serious. From my experience, one MUST be a perfectionist at the very least, to have the drive and discipline to get really good. Of course, there is also the issue of natural talent (of which I...

How to Control Draw and Follow Distance Accurately and Consistently

It is much harder for me to segment the drawback into fractions though. As soon as I do, it feels too mechanical and disrupts the timing and transition to forward motion.

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

I've spent years trying to improve my bank shots with what I always called "off-table visualization" or "Siamese tables". Others call it a "mirror" technique. Over time, I've found I can hit most shots (particularly the harder ones) more often than those who are otherwise my peers. I truly...

How to Control Draw and Follow Distance Accurately and Consistently

Using draw length to control distance was a bit hard for me to get the hang of. One thing that has really helped is to think of it like the plunger on a pinball table. This not only helped "feel" and visualize the effect, but also slowed down my backstroke a bit and helped me with a smoother...

Scott erwin is a hack! Dont use him for cue work!

I submitted a repair request on 2/16. Meucci eventually said to send 'em in, and cues were received on 3/17. Still waiting to get them back. Honestly, I don't know that they can reprint those logos, but it will be quite the wait. 🤷‍♂️

    A little love for Meucci?

The only cue that could "retire" my main squeeze is a David Howard model 4 (the OG "Giant Killer" cue). Maybe I'll get one someday. Congrats on the new cue!

    New Here? - Introduce Yourself

I first started playing pool at age 14, when I finally walked away from the Galaga and Dig-Dug video games and tried my hand on a coin-op table in the arcade. The very first thing I learned about pool is that it's a lot more fun when you make the balls. Thus, here I am, 4 decades later, still...

    Just curious about Meucci.

I would say they should invest in someone to handle customer relations and marketing who would know better than to phrase it that way. On one hand, they should stand behind their work for a reasonable period. On the other hand, I also understand that the more complex the design and variety of...
