I like aiming the center of the CB at fractions on the OB (the usual way) so I have my stick and eyes aligned more often. The sighting advantage works for me even for shots (most) that aren’t aimed exactly center ball-to-fraction or are hit off-center.

I'm pretty sure it was on El Segundo in the town of Hawthorne. Jay Helfert would know better than my threadbare memory - I think he lived near there at the time.

I got to watch Tad compete against pros (including Jose and, I think, Jeanette) when I was playing at South Bay Billiards in the early 90s. A beast in those days for sure.

Aside from numbers of serious players, your strongest argument seems to be fast-twitch strength - I suppose that's legit, but, although I agree that pool can be "gender affected", I'm not convinced it's a defining difference (not insurmountable for serious female players).

I don't believe any gender-based physical advantages apply to pool. As has been discussed, the male "advantage" is just the difference in how many take the game seriously, especially at a younger age.
