FYI here, Pockets will be 4.75 and 5.25. The pockets on my Gold Crown IV are 4.5 and 4.75. If I want to practice on tighter pockets I will go downstairs and play on my GCIV. Or else put on the pocket reducers.

Thanks for the info. I do remember Jay Helfert or Dave Mattux specificallly mentioning the AMF Advantage table, however. Don't recall which match it was but it was definitely from the Sands Regency Tourney in Reno in the 1990s.

Amen to that! When I watch those old Accu-Stats DVDs from the Sands Regency Tournament in Reno I can't tell if they are playing on a Gold Crown or on that AMF table. I think it was called the Advantage. Unless Grady or Billy or Buddy said what table it was I couldn't really tell.

For the 55,000th time......... It's not that I can't make balls on the break. I just rarely ever get a runnable spread. It's like the table needs an exorcism or something.

Most GCIVs do. But as we all know - every single table can play different. Nick Varner's GCV just seems to play so much better than my GCIV. I just don't understand it.

I have a Gold Crown IV that, in my mind, doesn't seem to play good. That's why I am buying the Diamond Professional.

All of these horror stories about Diamond worry me. I hope I didn't make a mistake spending $11,300 on a new Diamond Professional.

Once I get my new Diamond Professional and it's as good as advertised I might end up endorsing Diamond. If that happens, then, yes, obviously, it will be absolute and complete total domination.

Just wondering how many - if any - of you folks still watch the DVDs of matches from the Sands Regency Tournament out in Reno back in the 1990s? I still watch them on a fairly regular basis and perhaps might even buy some more DVDs from the Sands in the near future. r/DCP
