    This Keeps Happening

This continues to be a problem for me. Just seems like no matter what 90% of the time there is always 3-4 balls clustered close together by the spot making position and runouts darn near impossible. Not sure what to do about it. Balls go in and fly around the table. But seemingly that...

    Memorial Day weekend.

Here's to hoping the weather is dry in Indianapolis tomorrow and the Indy 500 is not rained out. Great pre-race festivities. Flyovers, Taps, Back Home Again In Indiana. r/DCP

Questions About This Tip & Joint

I chose the Elkmaster option for the tip. The website says 14mm.

Questions About This Tip & Joint

And I didn't know that Elkmaster made a "Pro" tip. I thought they just made the blue one that everybody knows about. Efren told me - and Steve Tipton - in Las Vegas back in 2002 that he played with a pressed Elkmaster. I've been using them ever since. r/DCP

Questions About This Tip & Joint

GideonF, Yep, that does sort of look like it. Thanks for posting! And for the record, this Cuetec Cynergy Matchroom Nine Ball cue with this tip does have a sweet hit. Plays really good. Cuetec has come a long way the last 20+ years now.

Questions About This Tip & Joint

I asked for the Elkmaster tip to be installed when I bought the cue. I was expecting it to be blue. I'm not sure what tip is on it now. That's why I took a pic and posted it, asking for everybody's thoughts.

Questions About This Tip & Joint

That's not what I asked. I asked if that tip is an Elkmaster. I'm not sure how I can make the question any more simple than that. Let me try: IS THE TIP IN THE PIC AN ELKMASTER TIP?????

Questions About This Tip & Joint

They are not interchangeable. Second, that's not what I asked. I asked if that tip is indeed an Elkmaster.

Questions About This Tip & Joint

Why what??? Why am I asking? Because I thought Elkmaster tips were blue. And I thought Cuetec had changed their joint material and they look the same to me. I am trying to learn something here.

Questions About This Tip & Joint

Okay, I just purchased a new Cuetec Cynergy Nine Ball cue and I have a couple of questions. First, is the tip shown an Elkmaster tip? Second, are the joints the same? The middle pic is the new Cynergy joint and the pic on the far right is from my old Cuetec Starlight Earl Strickland cue...

    Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series Cues

FYI here, I just ordered one of these cues. For some reason the last 2-3 days I seem to just keep missing shots and hosing up runouts. I figure I need something to jump start me. r/DCP

    Buddy Hall Cue Specs

About the same time that Buddy was playing with a Lucasi I believe Tom "Dr Cue" Rossman was also sponsoring Lucasi cues. You might contact him through his website to see if he could shed any light here. r/DCP

    Buddy Hall Cue Specs

I would contact Nick Varner down in Owensboro. That's not too far from Paducah/Metropolis where Buddy grew up.

    Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series Cues

I am also curious about the joint on this new Cuetec Cynergy Nineball cue. Is it still that hard rubber that Cuetec used 30 years ago? I believe they called it Implex or something like that. My old Cuetec cues always seem to sort of have a rubbery type hit. Or is the joint different on this...

    Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series Cues

If I would buy one of these cues I assume the shaft would fit on my late 1990s Cuetec Earl Strickland Starlight butt, correct? I assume it's the 3/8x10 joint.

    Cuetec Cynergy Nineball Series Cues

Has anybody ever owned one of these? Or shot with one of these? I am thinking about buying one. It's my understanding that Cuetec Cues are way better than what they used to be 30 years ago. Anybody? r/DCP

    This Keeps Happening

And this is what I am talking about. No comment was made about a template and possibly causing balls to cluster that was the intent of the original post. Just another insult. Which is pretty much what AZB is all about anymore.

    This Keeps Happening

This thread was started because I noticed there seemed to be 3-4 balls sort of clustered together quite a bit. As in the original post. The intent of this thread was to ask others that use a template if that is something that is normal for them as well. But again, others have twisted it...

    This Keeps Happening

I did order the Fedor Gorst Magic Rack today. Not sure if it will help me any as the balls typically spread pretty good. Just seems like a few balls tend to end up close together as in the original post. r/DCP
