I was watching the 1992 Sands Reno Finals last night between Buddy Hall and Johnny Archer. Bill Incardona was commentating and he said they were playing on Simonis. I believe he also said 760. r/DCP

I assumed since this was one of the biggest tournaments in the country - twice a year - that it would absolutely be played on brand new cloth. Yet on some of the Accu-Stats videos I have it appears to be used cloth. Just curious you might say. r/DCP

I've been watching some of the old matches from the Sands Regency tournament in Reno during the 1990s. I have alot of them on Accu-Stats DVDs. The tables seemed to be either a Gold Crown or the AMF Advantage table. And my question is - were they playing on brand new cloth? r/DCP

I had a new bathroom floor put in the old house. I didn't go down to the basement where the table is for 2-3 days after the guy was done in the bathroom. When I finally did head to the table I saw this. I guess stuff from the new bathroom floor seeped through the floor and onto the table...

All of Capelle's books are good. Certainly worth getting and reading through. However, none of them are going to transform you into a great player. Only you can do that. But if you follow what he says and practice what he shows you it will certainly be a big help. I went through his books...
