Yeah, it's gonna be a truly nice cue, sir... Great piece of work! I really look forward to see this one finished. Snakewood is always a real eyecatcher...
I do agree, sir. Especially for such a great cue with many inlays. But I forgot to mention the joint (and all white inlays also) is made of Elforyn. This is an excellent and very realistic ivory substitute.
I paid the 50% deposit on 23rd of January this year and he's shipped the finished cue on 25th of September. Altogether around 8 months. It's not bad I think, is it? His own estimation was 9 to 10 months... For that I must say very very well done, Kenny...
Now my Murrell cue comes closer to be finished I gonna share some pics with you. If everything goes well it should be ready around the first week
of October.
It plays very well as expected. This wasn't a big surprise for I played a BCM kingwood merry widow/plain jane til now. If you gonna have another cue built why don't you talk with Kenny? Do you know him? He builds me a cue, too.
Mine is very nice, too. Unfortunately there were some problems with German customs, but today I got it. It looks great and is exceedingly well made also. I couldn't play it yet, but I will remedy this deficit tomorrow...:wink2:
