Does it have a weight bolt, or could it be lightened to 17.5 or lighter?

I am 5'9" and the 18" tube I made is a good length. You could try 12" but why not go with 18", you probably wouldn't have to hold it near the end as I do.

Is it a walking cane? Does the shaft fit into the butt?

Try cutting them into smaller pieces. I cut them into 2, but 3 or 4 would have been easier. If you cut them smaller you could also try using needle nose pliers to keep them from sticking to your fingers.

Hits great, and because it weighs next to nothing it is very easy to keep the tip down. I have used Longoni extensions and like the feel of this better. My cue is about 17.4 oz so this doesn't change the feel as much as other extensions have.

I stuck the hook side to the side of the long pocket on the case. And the loop side(soft) to the tube.
