It's simple, don't beat it up. I've been playing for 30yrs and have never had a cue refinished,my oldest cue is 20yrs old and looks almost new,no nicks or dings, shafts are smooth as silk.
I've only got the blue one, the green is in somebody else's collection. I showed this one to Don at the derby. The cue is every thing you would expect from Dennis, amazing fit and finish, the pau shell sparkles like a diamond and is one of the most amazing players!

Correct Skins,there is a lot of misinformation about South West cue's out there.People that have never owned one or ordered one from Laurie or Jerry think they are authorities on them.
