    Who wants the job?

That was much worse than just loose bolts. We can add loose screws and drill holes into the slate:eek:

How to know if you got a quality install?

Part of the story goes something like this, Greg Sullivan wasn't able to level a couple of tables at the Rack. Don't the rail bolts go thru the slates and into the frame? How can you adjust the shims when the rails are torqued to 25 ft/lbs?

    First time going to Q-Masters

I was last there in 2022 for a tournament. I only played in the back room with 9’ tables. It has stadium seating for the rail birds with great views of the tables. My only minor complaint is the 9’ tables are a mix of Red and Blue label tables. I say the red labels played fine all though I’d...

    Who wants the job?

Good luck. Maybe with winter coming, a good mechanic would like a Florida vacation. Just a suggestion, give Yale Billiards a call. They just became a Brunswick GC7 showcase room with new tables for their Sharkstream.

How to know if you got a quality install?

I’ve been told by a mechanic that I trust, that torquing the rail bolts can throw off the leveling. Maybe that’s why the hacks didn’t properly torque the rail bolts. He’s had discussions with Greg Sullivan about it.

Making it in America - One Pocket Tour

PoolActionTV, if you want more dead money you should raise your 620-739 FargoRate to 660-739. There’s a ton of 620-660 players that would love to play even if they don’t really like 1P but would love to get in a tournament to learn or match up.

green taom chalk on blue 860hr cloth

I’ll have to post pics of V10 buggers on my CB. It happens often and doesn’t matter which brand CB I use. I only lightly brush the tip when applying chalk

green taom chalk on blue 860hr cloth

If you lay your tip on the rail to check bank angle the green chalk will definitely leave a mark. I’ve had to brush off the mark plenty of times before I shoot.

    Good Books to Learn From

I liked it also, but I've had a top instructor years ago say there's some errors in it. I haven't read it in over 20 years so I just might have to read it again.

    Long distance move and storage

When I moved I sold my black GC4, it hurt because the matte black GC4 is the best of the best. If I had a 3, I’d sell it and say good riddance🤣

Need feedback from Houston players about the possibility of Houston Club!!!

Big Tyme has six 9’ tables Bogies east has a good amount of 9’ tables, one is a red label. I’ve played at Bananas but I don’t remember how many 9’ tables they have. Stix and Stones has four or five 9’ tables. I probably should have said, way too many 7 & 8 foot tables.

    9 and out from nowhere

That was a standard two rail bank that comes up all the time. What Josh did was kinda like Sully, you've got one chance, don't screw it up. As for Scott, I don't know why he was dumbfounded. It's not like Josh is a hack and can't control his rock. A good runout though, top flight cue ball control.

Need feedback from Houston players about the possibility of Houston Club!!!

For the most part Texas rooms suck. Way too many 8' tables, not enough 9' tables. Yes, the bar boxes and leagues pay the bills, but I see more people want to play on the big tables that don't care for leagues. I don't live in Houston but I'll be wishing you the best.
