I dunno if anyone asked this yet but where are you located? I am sure there is prob some fellow AZers that could help out or maybe give some suggestions. AZers are the best source of all kinds of info including places to practice. I just love the wealth of knowledge here.

We need to teach more hot girls to play pool. Watching pool is not so interesting to an average joe. But if we got some hot chicks in skirts playing pool that would generate interest in the general public. Just my dumb idea but I get a lot of attention being a nice looking lady pool player.

What?! Really? The reason you will get the skid on a Diamond is if they are not cared for properly. I know because I have to take care of 3 Diamond tables. If I am lazy and don't clean my balls then there will be skid. Diamonds are wonderful because they have no mercy. There is no BS shots...

AMAZING Book. The biggest thing I took from it was finding a rhythm in my pool playing. It gave me the insight to know how to approach a table in the correct mind set. I'll admit I did read it twice before it really sank in.

I got my first table run. We were playing leagues and I was bartending and had to sub because one of my teams were short a player. The glory of it was the guy I beat was a master and his team gave him hell about being beat by a little girl. I am only 5' tall. It was priceless. I get warm fuzzies...

I think it is a combination of both. You have to have the ability to put the knowledge you acquire in to action on the table. Using BCAPL rules for example, knowledge is power for sure. A lot of matches in tournaments could have gone the other way if the losing player had been more familiar with...

Nah, not bust. Just dormant. Everything comes in circles. We need a new pool movie and then everyone will be gung ho to play again. Otherwise, I am going to have the most beautiful collection of cues and will play by myself.

Talk to Diamond directly or contact RealKingCobra aka Glen. He can not only get you the tables but he can also transport, set-up, and recover if necessary. Those tables are NOT an easy move without the proper equipment.

Ahem! As a BCA rep, I agree the chalk sound is the most obvious flaw. I sure do miss my Phenolic tip though. It packed the extra oomph I needed. PS. I am going to look for a durometer to bring to nationals now....does that come in a portable version? :)
