Would the pool community use crypto for betting on pool matches?

Several years ago I saw it used on betting at the Derby City Classic action room. I do not know the particulars except is involved foreigners.

    Shims

If you are buying a new table, it is much easier to buy tight pockets and make them bigger if needed. Much more work and cost to make large pockets smaller CORRECTLY. The question you need to ask yourself...is this a leisure time table or are you trying to become a pro...or something in the...

    Dominant eye?

I am in my 80's, 20/20 vision via lens implants, and right handed. Forty or so years ago I decided to close my left eye while shooting pool. Just like rifle shooters. It took a little while to adjust, but it greatly improved my accuracy. If there is a problem it is in my stroke. No recommendations.

    Balance point and deflection

At any pivot point can you get absolute '0' deflection? And if you do, what happens when you increase your pivot point?

Poll: What kind of pool do you prefer watching, whether virtually or on-site?

I really like head to head but since most pool watching is on the internet, I selected tournaments because it fits in to my time schedule and I see a variety of world class players. But a head to head match is hard to beat.

I need breaking technique in 8-ball as I get older.

I am in my 80's and my break looses power every year. I also like One Pocket, therefore my moving is a little better than most league players. But........I do respect your perspective. Thanks.

I need breaking technique in 8-ball as I get older.

How you break depends on who you are playing. Most league players do not run out 50% of the time. Use the 2nd ball break and not too hard. Since you usually do not make a ball, you will leave clusters most of the time and will get back to the table. If you are playing a run out player...use...

Been using the jab stroke, wish I found about it earlier.

I thought the opposite would be true. Using the smaller muscles in the wrist would give more precise movement in close situations like 14.1. In fact, my use of the 'jab stroke' only uses the wrist.

Bulletproof Recoil tips 7 month later

Are you saying that if the tip was 1 inch long, installed on my cue, it would play the same way if I turned it down to 1/4 inch? It may sound like I am reducing this to the ridiculous but I have concerns about masse shots, break shots, etc.

Bulletproof Recoil tips 7 month later

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I will try a Bulletproof next time. I like a medium tip so that may be a good place to start. I usually have the expert installer shave my tips down to 1/2 the original thickness. In your opinion/experience, what would you advise?

Was it a mistake to get a unilock playing cue? It keeps making a rattling noise whenever there is vibration.

Rub a bar of hard soap on the threads. Leave the soap residue on and screw it together. If it had a weight bolt , I would put the soap on it also. Also, it is an easy way to tighten up joints on an old cue.

    deflection

This was before I knew anything about 'pivot point'. But it started to come together. It was about the time Bob Meucci was promoting 'Zero Deflection'. He had a table set up at Starcher Billiards in Akron, Ohio, for the Ohio Open Championship to prove it. I, as others, could not comprehend it...

"Lock and load" the shoulder to control movement?

My question: Should players try to minimize shoulder movement or to incorporate the shoulder in a smooth straight stroke? Compare Allen Hopkins to Mike Massey...both champions. Thanks.
