Warning someone is trying to use my name!!!!

Might be worth contacting the pool halls in the area to see if this guy is known for coming in to sell cues. If he is, then the cues are most likely stolen through fraud. I think this guy is in desperate need of wearing orange again.

    Help ID'ing an old McDermott

It looks alot like an M7QR1 (1997-2001) other than yours does not have a stainless steel joint.

LD shafts for sale. OB, I3, and Predator.

The I3 shaft is a great shaft. I had one just like it with the longer furrel and even emailed Mcdermott to verify that it was an orrigional furrel.

    BALABUSHKA 1 0f 1 CUSTOM

I think it is a very nice cue. In this market and on this board I think that finding a buyer for a high end production cue is difficult. Yes it is a 1 of 1 custom, but it is still from a mass producer. I think some of those who are a tad more hostile in this thread may have gotten their...

    Tall Folks

I'm 6'5" and used to shoot with a 63" Dale Chilton. I love the cue, but had a heck of a time finding a case that the cue would fit in properly due to the butt length.

Found these cues at a yard sale over the weekend,,Yeah Me!!

Unless i'm mistaken (could be due to not having a close-up) but that D series is not a standard production. It appears to be a D12 with no points. Needless to say i'm jealous. :) Great find!

    Best Machine Ever. :-)

I think there are a number of factors involved beyond simply having the same or better product. 1. Country loyalty, unless the product was vastly better than something offered here, people would stick to US based products in this niche. (or a huge price difference ) 2. Reputation, People...

What makes a good cue - cuemakers ONLY please.

I'm not a cue maker, but I think another way to look at the intent that John is getting at, would be to ask what makes a bad cue. There are enough well built cues that have completely different feels and hits and looks, that trying to peg one as the definition of a 'good cue' is near...

    Looking to buy CC

Get ahold of Koinnkid here on the forums (Troy). He has a number of Carolina's, I just picked one up from him two weeks ago. I love it.

Accidentally deleted info asking about a cue order!

Maybe Mr. Wilson or another moderator can recover your message. Some board systems have that option to board admins. Either way here is a bump and hope you and your buyer re-connect.

    WTS WTT 3 Sweet McDermotts

Nice cues, interesting background. You have to wonder if whoever buys the cues will wonder if the yellowish discoloration on the bathroom rug is actually pee stains... Nothing a moist wipe can't fix :) Good luck with the sales.

    Blue Diamond Chalk just in.

I figured i'd help Troy with a fun bump with his 'got chalk' campaign...

Everything hits a ton,but a ton of what?

I think most people who would post a sales thread with all of these catchy over-used phrases knows that they only have a marginal help in selling the cue. However, a marginal help is still offering a little more chance to sell a cue in these crappy economic times. Anyone who 'really' knows...

    Fixing a finish

Took me a little longer than I planned to get pictures taken and posted, but here they are. The shaft is the worst, then the collar at the joint.

    D-series cues

Could you post a picture of the collection? Also if you don't get a buyer for the batch as a full set, do you plan to sell them individually. I may be interested in a couple of them depending on the wood stains used.
