GENDER IN POOL ... Do Men Play Better Than Women? ... Recent Legal Trial

This is a very telling statement. Transgender male would probably go 2 and out. I agree with c. above. On the strength theory, how would a woman fare playing golf from the men's tees ? There is something to be said for males to be able, normally, to be exposed to pool at an earlier age...

    Houston legends

Wilson King - Houston Whitey. Inherited some money and moved back to New York. I remember at Red's tournament (Ceasar Morales won it), Whitey brought his 70 - 80 year old mother to the tournament and sat her on the front row of bleachers so she could see him play. Always, always played...

I will add that if you are hustling that you could start off a little lower than beating Justin Hall. Another thing, was it in a tournament or gambling ?

Largest Pool Halls in the USA?

I have often wondered about that myself. Owner - Bobby Goad - was from Ft Worth, had a fairly successful bar and pool business here. He and his pretty wife, Janet, moved to Colorado Springs and opened first Pinkies. Named after his wife's fingernails, I think. Janet always wore hot pink nail...

    Jeff Melton....RIP

Knew Jeff well from many years of seeing him and playing against him at Oklahoma and Texas pool tournaments. Jeff was a great player, but more than that, he was a better person. Like Garczar said, Jeff could keep you laughing. The pool world around here will sure miss him. RIP, Jeff.🙏

Best CF Shaft for the MSRP?

I shoot with a 12.5 Cuetec Cynergy. Love it. Bought a Rhino 11.8 CF shaft for backup. I would say that you can't bea Rhinos for the price.

Jim Odom Cues- My First ONE- VERY IMPRESSED!

Jim is a close friend of mine. Has been making great playing cues for 30 (?) years now. Goes to extremes for perfection in his cues and repair and maintenance work. In his upper 70's now and has slowed down a little. Still a go to for shafts and maintenance for all of us around Ft Worth.
