Thanks for the input! I figured they played better than production, but I was just curious how stiff the hit was. I love wrapless cues, so a Sneaky Pete might be the answer.

I have noticed that Scruggs cues sell really fast on here. Can anyone enlighten me on how his cues play? Do they play similar to any production cues out there?

I am looking into buying a schon right now, but I can't figure out if I should buy a brand new one, or look for an older one? I have been reading on here that the old ones play much better than the new ones? If anyone could give me some advice, I would appreciate it.

yea I don't see how they wouldn't play great on a Schon. If I had the cash Id just buy a schon shaft and a predator shaft.

I agree with Schon making a really good shaft but I really think I would have a hard time getting used to the deflection. I am looking for a stiffer hit than my lucasi, and I know I can get a good stiff hit out of a Schon.

Thanks for the input! I was thinkin I might loose the schon hit too if I put a predator shaft on it. I have hit with the ob2 and didnt like it as much as my predator shaft.
