When I’m buying a cue I always want to know the butt weight, shaft(s) weight and diameter, especially if I’m spending a few thousand . I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

$500 and up is the going price for quality shafts. Actually not so quality shafts from the known cue makers is $500 and up. Get it while you can.

I don’t get it. Richard makes a great kielwood shaft. It might cost a couple hundred more than you want to spend but he can meet your specs. It’s not like you can’t afford it. You have many nice and expensive cues which you like to show us. An extra $200 to get what you want. Why not?

It’s also a huge plus these kids get to watch and interact with the top professionals.

I believe there’s more high level junior tournaments happening not just in the US but in multiple countries. An example in the US is the International 9-Ball that Pat Fleming hosts. He has a junior tournament running in conjunction with the pro tournament and there’s some strong kids coming up...

I think the junior pool scene in the US is stronger than it’s been in several years. Hopefully the money will increase to the point it’s actually a viable career. I’m hopeful.
