This cue has been fully refinished, rewrapped, and re-tipped by Scot at Proficient Billiards. Specs of the cue, before the refurb, are: Butt - 15.10oz, linen wrap (removed old, beat-up leather), appears to be a late 70s (or early 80s) 4-pointer..based on the cap stamp. Shaft 1 - 12.85mm...

I HATE purple heart..... But I'd be beyond proud to own this cue. It's stunning. And I may have to rethink my hatred of that particular wood species.

Very real, in my experience. Greatest example I can offer is a custom sneaky I bought from Bamacues, a LONG time ago. Drove up to his local PH to pick it up...and instantly fell in love with it. Break-and-runout, right out of the gate. I played some of my best pool, ever, with that cue...

The sea monster uses a person's most desired "thing" as bait. 1st guy wanted treasure. Greed got him killed. 2nd guy wanted the girl. Lust got him killed. Grandma wanted the love of her family...so that was the bait that got her ate. Twisted irony.
