Touching the one while racking

What’s shameful? I’ve seen guys do this and I’m trying to figure out why?

I have seen a lot of people complaining about players fingering the 1 ball when racking 9 ball. Excuse my racking ignorance. But what kind of advantage are people getting by doing this?

Has this tournament fallen off that bad? I know the field was weaker than normal this year but it just surprises me there not even any discussion about it.

Never had a problem at JOB's. Tables always in good shape and treated well even though I'm a out of towner. Don't be naive. If you think substances aren't at every pool room and bar you are fooling yourself.

When I go play the local weekly tourney I'll have 2 or 3 beers when I get there. I have to drive 30 minutes home and I know i'm going to be ther at least 5 or 6 hours. Gives me time to make sure my blood alchohol level is low enought to stay out of jail. I'm allergic to jail and like to drive.

I prefer a leather wrap. I've never been crazy about a wrapless shooting cue.

Tennis shoes, loafers, steel toes. whatever happens to be on my feet. After work steel toes, tournaments tennis shoes mostly.
