    Brand new artistic billiard shots

I especially liked the backup shot at 2:40. Amazing.

What's the right hit on the break shot?

I forget the author... But the joke goes something like this: Break shot? How would I know...I've never won the lag.

Special Offer for Players and Veiwers of Women's 3 Cushion LIVE stream

Not you, specifically But since you've asked: In all your experience, would you say that men would inherently have an unfair advantage over women in playing 3C? I could understand football, basketball or even 9 ball (slight)... but 3C?

Special Offer for Players and Veiwers of Women's 3 Cushion LIVE stream

I've asked before but... have never gotten an answer. Why would there be a need to separate the sexes in 3C competition? What possible advantage or disadvantage? Seems like a waste of time, effort and money.

    Predator 3c cue

Where do they get that? I haven't seen any evidence. Unless you're in a large metro area or one of specific ethnicity 3C is virtually unheard of.

    Billiards in Mexico City

Ain't it the truth I'd venture a guess that there are more billiard tables in Mexico City than anywhere in the world. You just got transferred to billiard heaven.

    Broadcasting of USBA Nationals

I have no doubt that the RIV has internet service available in room and for conventions, however: If the tournament were held near any wagering area there would most assuredly be a blackout. Additionally, adjacent/next door internet service would also suffer the same. I doubt they're trying to...

    Broadcasting of USBA Nationals

I'd bet that there wasn't a 'hot spot'. Casinos typically don't have internet or cellular service for obvious reasons...collusion. ;)

World cup in Mexico has been cancelled

http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/notas/753204.html This says that someone threw a grenade during a festival. Three band members were injured and there was a stampede by spectators resulting in many injuries.

    Women's USBA World Invitational

What am I missing? It would seem that among all sports women can compete on an equal basis in 3C, no? Why would there need to be a separate division? After all, isn't televised women's pool far more popular than men's?

    World Cup

Legitimate criticism and suggestions...ABSOLUTELY! Internal pissing matches...UNCOOL! Name one successful organization, be it business or fraternal where board members engage in this type of OPEN infighting. This crap should be taken off-board. VERY unprofessional.

    World Cup

Airing dirty laundry Sir, Don't know you...But consider your organization essential in promoting billiards in the U.S. I have watched with amazement while you and other members of the USBA have argued, on this forum, about the direction, trials and tribulations of your organization... Very...

I'm not familiar with 'Kleber' rubber. Is it similar to a Verhoeven rail? Same angle of deflection?

    In the desert

I'm spending the winter in Palm Desert and want to play some billiards. Anyone familiar with the area? Is there a place nearby to play without having to drive to LA?

What is your favorite 3 cushion cue and why?

Is he still building cues? I know he worked for Helmstetter. Where would I find one?

What is your favorite 3 cushion cue and why?

I mostly play a Schuler. Have several shafts but I mainly use the 10.5 mm snooker, Talisman tip. I like the longer shaft and 'in my mind' I think it helps me see the ball better. Also sometimes use an old Helmstetter snooker cue with a 9.5mm tip but only when I'm super confident with my stroke.

Eliminate the red. Each player hits the others cue ball--three rails--then hits it again. Simple...No?
