Excellent advice all of you, but can u really trust a used gc4 that's been at a pool hall? will a new felt and a pro installer make this table great?

Seems to be a ton of pool halls selling there used Gold Crown 4s. Also a bunch of people refurbishing them. There's a black gold crown 4, that a guy bought 2 years ago of a pool hall, and is selling for 2k, says good condition, do it? Theres also a great escape near us and has brand new...
