One year around Halloween a local bar ran a broomstick tournament. Surprisingly there were some tables run. Even a few jump shots were made with a broomstick. In all fairness we only used the handle, not the whole broom.
I don't know. I know a couple of guys that do it all the time though. Chalk all over the rail. Constantly having to get something to wipe the rail down with. Annoying as hell!
I never put more than one piece of chalk on the table. If there is more than 1 piece, by the time I'm done shooting, they will be side by side. I don't know why, but I always end up grabbing them both and set them down together.
I just watched a video of Efren playing Keith McCready and the commentators were talking about Efren playing with a $15 cue. Not sure if he was playing with it in that match, or if that is what he was playing with when he 1st came here.
That would be fun too. But what would you set for the number? Winner breaks? Alternate breaks? Depending on the number, an ahead set could be over in a couple of hours, or last for many days.
I'm no fan of Jason Shaw, but if he is dealing with changing cues, changing table conditions, and a blistered hand, the combination of that with the distractions of this being your home room might be too much.
