As a former graduate of the Cueniversity, I was saddened to hear this news. R.I.P. Dennis. You were one of a kind. Dave. (Aus).

    What's your greatest pool accomplishment?

Running my first rack of pool (with a pool cue I built myself). The running of the rack wasn't a big thing... I'd done it thousands of times before. It was the journey of learning to build cues, finally finishing one, then using it that was rewarding. I'd long lost interest in the "pool...

Unusual or "outside the box" engineering.

Fairly sure Dieckman did this, and he incorporated the "dot" into his signature on the cue.

Women 9 Ball Champion at the age of 16

Oh, She is good all right. I saw a video of her a while back playing the 9 ball ghost and she smashed him 10 zip. I don't think she even took ball in hand on at least half the racks. Her shotmaking and belief in herself reminds me of a young Earl Strickland. Congratz to Her !

The First Full Splice Butterfly Sugartree by Eric Crisp

Love this cue / design. In calling it a "Full Splice Butterfly" are you saying that the Ebony (?) handle (The black piece at the end of the Cue) is one piece of wood ?

3 Foul: When to warn you oppenent!

In my opinion, a smart player tells their opponent that they are on two fouls the minute they comitt the second foul (and expects an acknowledgement), then reminds them they are on two fouls when they approact the table next (and also expects an acknowledgement). In matches without a referee...

    3rd custom kilby carom cue

As far as I know, Dieckman sold off all his shop equipment, so he doesn't build cues any longer. He did of course build Carom cues previously.

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Nice work. Being able to solve the cube at all is a feat in itself. And then comes the challenge of the clock. I first solved the cube as a child in around 1983, and have recently taken it up again as a test of memory and dexterity. My PB is 16.07, although I average around 25. I have room...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

If I might be indulged in a slight off topic question to the OP (and forgive me if someone else has asked you this). Do you have a similar interest in Rubiks Cubes as you do pool balls ? I think I read you are from UK. The colour scheme on the cube in your avatar is interesting. Cheers - Dave.

For Sale: Snooker Vacuum Brass Joint Pin M&F Set

I got a couple of these a while back, and used them for the joint in the butt of the cue, that a cue extenstion fits to. Fitted together great for this purpose, really fast join and release.
