    Samsara Jump/Break questions

    For awhile now I have been considering buying a new jump break cue and have asked for input on here a couple times. I am being thorough since I will be buying sight unseen and have no way of prior testing where I live. I have narrowed it down to a Samsara or Lomax, both of which I hear are great...

    Better J/B cue - Samsara or Lomax

    I have written a couple of posts on here in regards to buying a new high quality jump break cue. My consensus is that people seem to really love either the Samsara or Lomax Jump/breaks. Is one constructed any different ie, better or worse than the other that would make a difference? Do you...

    What makes a good break or jump break cue?

    Recently I posted about a McDermott Sledgehammer and got several answers about how well they were built. I finally went to buy it but test hit it first. I liked the way the phenolic tipped cue hit but didn't like the lack of control. So, I tried the leather tipped version and it felt too...

    ~~~ Prather Fancy Sneaky (Mint) ~~~
    Really nice cue. I bought virtually the same one last year and outfitted it for a break cue. Plan on switching tips back to a player, as it has a real nice feel to it. GL with your sale.
    Older McDermott Sledgehammer Break/Jump questions
    Thanks Mike for taking the time to respond. I have heard nothing but great things about your cues and don't doubt at all for the Anvil to be one of the best. If I played at top speed, I think I would be more inclined to go your route. However, at this point in time, I am really just looking...
    Older McDermott Sledgehammer Break/Jump questions
    Thanks again guys for all your opinions. I think some of the posts have gotten away from what I am looking for. I guess my original questions were leaning more toward whether these would be a good overall break/jump cue, is there much difference between them and the Gulyassy cues, what type of...
    Older McDermott Sledgehammer Break/Jump questions
    Thanks guys. I know that it does have a phenolic tip on it. I use some older Aramith balls at home and would have to be careful of that. I do believe that he said 2 of his cues have the option of a harder layered leather tip. (I am guessing similar to a Samsara, but don't know what kind they...
