On a Mercedes.

FAKE! Nobody can read a doctor’s signature, not even other doctors or pharmacists.

That was my first thought. There are maybe 4 or 5 cues I’ve ever hit a few balls with where I thought, “I have to have this cue.” I own one of them. They all have that same crisp hit and the weight of the cue feels evenly distributed across its length (best description I can provide). I...

It has long been apparent that I am in the minority. But I’ve never player with an LD or CF shaft that made be think I need to change and play with them instead of my traditional maple shafts. I even bought a 314-2 shaft when it was new so I could spend more time with it. But I’ve never felt...

Lee was not a flake. In the minds of people who lost their deposits, “crook” would be one of the nicer labels they might use.

Lee deserves all of the bad feedback because of the moneys he took as deposits for cues he did not deliver. Last I recall, many of those cues never materialized. I was fortunate to receive one of the last cues he delivered. After more than 13 years, my cue is still straight together and a...

My favorite cuemaker was Bill Schick. I never had problems speaking with him when I had questions or specific needs. Amazing man. For repair/refinishing work, Mike Webb can’t be beat. I had a cue on order from William Gentry. Like everybody else, I’m still sick over the loss of him...

I had a friend from quite a few years ago whose father had a cockapoo that was plenty assertive, as well. One of his neighbors was raising pit bull dogs for fighting. He had to ask her father to keep his cockapoo chained up because the dog was scaring his young pit bulls during their training.

The 21st century’s version of ‘Who’s on First”.

I’m just guessing, but a possible name that hasn’t been mentioned is Jack Colavita. Like Irving Crane, he held down a 5-day a week job to support his family. I played against him twice. Money was never mentioned. He just wanted to play.

“Yes, I’ll be there” - I might be there.

Old video, but still funny.

The cue has a loyal following. Not many people would be willing to sell theirs. I won’t. It’s my only cue that made me more money than it cost me. I used to play with it in a bar tournament years ago. I made more prize money than the sum of my entry fees with enough left over to cover the...

I’ve owned this Meucci Sneaky Pete since the early ‘90’s. It was my third Meucci and the one I kept and still play with. The common belief about Meucci is that their shafts are whippy. Not this cue. It has a taper very similar to my Schick shafts.

Of course, you should verify. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/underappreciated-cue-makers-section.585457/post-8441311

This was the closest I found. Separately, I am only aware of Jim Murnak making cases, not cues.
