    For McDermott, the price range is pretty wide. I'm assuming a good chunk of that is to account for artistic components, but is it safe to say that I could get the absolutely cheapest McDermott there is, and it's still going to be a great cue for me to learn on? Don't know much about the...

    I have a Cuetec right now. Though I do enjoy how smooth the plastic coating is on it, I keep reading that in the long run I'll wish I had a wood cue. So I'm entertaining offers for something in the 100-150 range. Thanks, Rob
