I think the story may have been more about experienced seasoned shooter vs young blood fearless shooter, as opposed to the whole skill rating vs skill rating thing. I enjoyed the story at any rate.

You aren't obligated to sell to someone just because they show interest. If you had accepted his original offer and then raised it you would be in the wrong, but you didnt. Hypothetical situation. You list your cue for sale and someone you believe to be shady tells you they'll take it at list...

I think its a bit underhanded to sell out of your trunk. If you owned a bar would it be ok for someone to sell alcohol in your parking lot?

Why dont you sell that cue in your pic and send it to the needy?

Try focusing on one or two spots for your cue ball placement and make sure you hit the rack as squarely as possible. The best way to get as much power transferred as possible is to make a square hit.

i forgot who said it but his opponent hit a shot that made the cue ball slowly scratch and while it was inching towards the pocket he says "quick! start talking to it!

I'm not advocating his behavior but as a whole most people over analyze and blow his behavior out of proportion. You can't make a judgment on his character when he's in the heat of battle and is under such tremendous pressure. We examine these players under a magnifying glass and look for flaws...

Wow. What an awesome story. I think the people that trash talk earl and say he is killing the game put too much emphasis on their opinions without ever thinking about how they came to having them.

I was playing 9 ball with 3 buddies at a local bar. All of us can break and run out and play about high C to B speed. I broke and ran against all 3 of them and then the first guy again for a 4 pack felt good

I'm not sure about the back story on this. Did he make an agreement to sell the case to a specific person and then get offered more? In that case he should sell the case to that person for the original agreed upon price. a deals a deal. Did he get offered more money before he agreed to sell it...

pool is easily my biggest addiction and for good reason. The nature of this game just makes you want to keep coming back for more.

You can give up ball in hand every time you miss. It could help the weaker player to learn pattern play too.
