shasha liu, han yu, rubilen, chezka, siming chen, kristina tkach, weiwei, chou.. all of them are above pia. few of them attend WPBA or eurotour events obviously
i think the sentiment is fair, straight pool is best played on big pockets with shallow shelf. i like playing it on stock GC's in my nearest room. but for pro-am 9b tournaments those tables are very soft. and they're not great for one pocket. the optimal pool room has some variety in the table...
joe's a slow player iirc. but no doubt it would be good for the US open, 100%
he probably has more viewers and listeners than cnn and fox, and they're younger and more prone to grow a new interest
i think that's because they're two different outfits, one of which (xingpai?) owns the "world championship". joy instead calls their events grand great mega masters this and that final and shit
do you mean there are more innings in 8-ball? from what i've seen it's wet break and runout or dry break and opponent runout.. very little tactics involved
i like when the pressure of the players carries over to the viewer, so i've come to enjoy watching gerson and his nervous stroke. i don't know how he does it. but yea, hope they put that match on a tv table. very contrasting styles
meanwhile bergman has beaten two of the hottest players on the planet. what a story that would be if he were to go all the way. will play gerson next to qualify for L32
fedor, shaw, yapp, biado look strong on the scoreboard
predator can do with implementing a shorter shot clock for 8-ball. would make it more interesting. and/or TWYM break rule
otherwise pro 8-ball - on any table - is just runouts. even in the heyball final the other day, with those 3.5" rounded pockets, they ran out over 50%
