    I would say one of the best games to practice cueball control, is backward 8-ball. Or atleast thats what i've allways called it. The same rules as 8-ball, but you don't shoot with the cueball. You shoot with either the stripes or solids and pocket the balls caroming from the cueball. Very good...

    As it has been proven that you can run over 400 balls with either style. I think it comes more down to the matter of preference and what style suits your own stroke better. Jmho.

    Wpa has working livescores aswell: http://www.wpa-pool.com/web/index.asp?id=131&pagetype=live_scoring&eventid=24 The match Archer vs Wu Jiaqing... I have to assume there is a typo and it should read Wu Chia-Ching, or is there another Wu I'm not aware of?
