    Low Deflection Shafts

I read here more than I participate but with the wealth of knowledge and experience out there...I'm shopping for a low deflection shaft for my Joss. Predator 314 or OB? I've hit the Predator but not the OB but I'm sure many out there have.

    For Sale - Joss 21

As a newbie, need some advice. Just bought a new Joss 21 and it's not right for me. Just played 3 racks but the butt end is a thinner than I'm used to. I got a deal from the $427 retail and if I can break even that would be great. I'm not sure how to do pics but that won't sell this anyway...

What Differnce Does the Tip Make for Your Game

Need a little help from a newbie to the forum. Posted replies early this am about tips and have not seen what I posted. What am I doing wrong? Now I'm really confused, the earlier posts are here.

What Differnce Does the Tip Make for Your Game

Doing that many tip changes, you should be able to answer. I haven't done it in 30 + years but just getting back into the game. With all the different tips out there now, I'd like to fool around and try most. Has technology gone beyond do it yourself? I noticed the clamp in one of the mags...

With everything that's out there now vs 40 yrs ago when I was playing, my thought was to try different tips until I find what I like for me. I used to change my own with the little clamp that I'm surprised is still out there. Is that still recommended or has the tip changing process gotten so...

    Custom vs Production

I haven't heard any mention of Schuler cues. I've learned that there is a licensed Schuler maker in my area that I will visit to continue my search but just wondering. Everyone has a favorite, personal preference and I'll get here sometime.

    Custom vs Production

Thanks so far for all the information, it's all been helpful and pretty much what I expected with all the experience out there. Now the fun starts...hitting different cues. I've uncovered an old Burton Spain from a closet, 2 shafts in great shape. I may look no further. For awhile at...

    Custom vs Production

Trying to get all the info I can about cues before seriously shopping. I'm assuming most of the cost of a custom is in the amount of intricate work and materials used. I'm guessing the participants of this forum have owned just about everything, custom and prod. And by prod. I mean Joss...

Leveraging your subconscious (read: don't let your conscious get in the way!)

Another one of Dennis' league'ers...and thanks to Dennis, who is always willing to help anyone willing to listen. Your post is just great. Aside from the importance of the mental side, the fact that this must also be practiced is the key. After getting back into the game after 30 years, and...
