Chinese pool starting to steal more and more 9 ballers, even without the big prize pool

Well James is far from a filler-in, he can play, as a matter of fact theres no American player other than SVB thats going to beat him.

I agree! He'll still beat anybody who gets in is way if his break is working..., and anybody in the USA other than SVB.

"Most Chinese fans are unfamiliar with top foreign players" Where did you get this from? The World Cup of Pool has had two Chinese teams in the finials and one team win it and there are teams from every major country. The World Pool Masters had the same participation and Ko won it. I think the...

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

Small pockets mean less of a chance of other balls going on the break, so making the wing ball and then running 8 balls is way different from making the wing ball and have 5 or even 6 balls to run. Using Filler as an example doesn't prove anything because he is a 1 of 1 in ball pocketing. There...

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

Thats Crazy!! Well you better be a Pro to runout on 4'' pockets!!!

I think of the break as a skill set, so why have rules, and so many rules, restricting the break?

All the Pro tournaments cured the wing ball issue by going to 4 1/4'' pockets..., yes the wing ball still goes, but few players are making multiple balls and even fewer are running out, there are very few big packages.

    7 and the Last two

The problem with a call-Ball (7 or 8) or a wild 7 or 8 is they can be made by the player giving that two you at any time during the game. The last two are there until the end of every game so you always have Action at your Money. Corey Deuel said that the spot seldom comes up between good...

    7 and the Last two

Well the "Last 2" is not one of the weakest spots in 9-ball. It is in fact one of the best spots depending on the players run-out ability and understanding of safety play. The "Last 2" is in play every game the entire game, and pressure to get all the way out never ends until the final ball is made.

    De Luna at it again

If it was about a rail-first shot then I would NEVER have given up that call. I was told it was about not calling the pocket not the rail first.

    De Luna at it again

I dont know, but I have played and backed a lot of call shot Pool and either all shots or call the none obvious shots..., but if its call all shots then its all shots.

    De Luna at it again

They set the rules and they played by the rules. They weren't playing for fun, nor a ten-dollar set so Jeff had every right to make that call. This game had nothing to do with CSI or WNT Rules, this is a Action match and the players set the rules. And remember the spot that Laz was getting, the...

    Billiards Glasses

Decot Hy-Wyd are the best by far. They are not cheap, but can be worn like a regular pair of glasses and then adjusted on the fly for shooting, You wont be disappointed!

Any Advice on how to shoot jump shots with accuracy?

I first saw that ball when a local instructor was using it to teach a student of his how to use it to learn to jump. He had a little sheet that he said came with it and it seemed to be a good tool.

Who are the greatest players ever who were not big gamblers?

Well I wont insult you or lack of comprehension, but you must not have spent much time around the Pool world. I was at the One Pocket tournament at Buffalo's and there was no way to get off cheap, so your belief that theres only a entry fee is mis-guided. There was $320,000 in the Calcutta and...

Who are the greatest players ever who were not big gamblers?

Your 90% correct! The reason that gambling is easier/different than tournament play is the fact that your gamble is a long as your Money! Down two or three sets, no problem flip it, down 5 games of One Pocket, no problem, raise the bet. But in a tournament, its two and out, a different kinda...

unfortunately theres not many good videos of him Grady Always said that Efren was the best in that time and of anytime. He also told me that for the Money it was Efern, Bugs and Cliff. I liked Grady and he said on video that Varner was to conservative to beat him. Theres NO WAY Grady...
