How many cues is too much? 2

I'm back to carrying 1 cue/shaft in my old, well worn "It's George" brown suede soft case. Zipper and velcro still perfect. Suede is shiny in places from use, not abuse.

Leave it as it is except maybe a new bumper. Some folks would buy that cue simply because of the original micarta ferrule. Price as is ???

What is a cue’s “hit”? I think it has to do with weight. Seems to me it's measured in "tons". 🫤

My 2001 Rick Howard is fairly old school as am I. Ebony butt sleeve w/ ivory Hoppe ring, white/green spec wrap, ebony pts w/ 4 veneers, full ivory joint, 3/8x10. NO INLAYS anywhere, only 4 veneers which enhance the cue. 2 shafts ~ 1 ivory ferrule/Le Pro & 1 Westinghouse micarta...

Best answer ~ Buy all known brands of Kielwood shafts you can find. Test them all out to find the one you like best. Sell the rest. You might take a little loss but no big deal, you've found the "Holy Grail". Thank me later.

I still have mine from the '70's stored away in the basement but I wasn't weighing cues then. Perhaps I should pull them out, set 'em up, & reminisce. (flashbacks)
