How Often Can You Run This?

Got out on 2nd try. I tried it 5 times. Got out 3/5. Got out on the 2nd,4th and 5th tries. I’m a 586 Fargo. Full disclosure: I shot 80 random balls first but never practiced any of these shots specifically beforehand. I was surprised. I thought it would be lower percentage.

Left handed chalk - for left eye dominant players

great stuff. I have hit 900 balls since remodeling my stroke and stance. I just put up my first respectable score in Fargo practice game, a 148. that's not great for me, but acceptable. Im normally in the 138-165 range. I was averaging about 125 shortly after the changes. I can see the numbers...

Left handed chalk - for left eye dominant players

Update Thanks AZ for the constructive responses. I've Been working on proper eye alignment and revisiting some basics and fundamentals, and I have actually found, after stumbling on Mark Wilsons EXCELLENT 3-part mini training series...The culprit was my foot placement. Unbelievable. Been playing...

Left handed chalk - for left eye dominant players

Thank you, yes, I have seen many examples of professional players and studying their posture is going to help. I have corrected my posture and look forward to making it a habit over the next 30 days. If you reread my post, I named the chalk “left-handed chalk” in an effort to remind myself to...

Left handed chalk - for left eye dominant players

yes, lol. I think this is a beautiful example of why we were taught as a young age, well most of us, that if we don’t have anything nice to say, not to say anything at all.

Left handed chalk - for left eye dominant players

For those of you who are left eye dominant and play right handed…read on. There is hope. I’ll start with “WHY”. My Fargo rating has dropped from 603 to 587 in the past year despite my exhaustive increase in practicing. I recently met with an eye doctor and explained that the balls look dark...

Curious-Do Fargo ratings differ by location?

I believe that the Fargo rating system overall is good and fair. Sure there are sandbaggers. sure there are average players who play out of their head when they manage to focus or practice a lot over a weekend...or get a blast of confidence by whipping a lower player before another match. This...

    Practice game: FARGO

I have been using this solo practice game for years now and it's a lifesaver. It faces you to bear down and focus during practice, and it punishes mistakes. it does have some flaws though. I've noticed that I am able to quickly restore my ability to my high average by using this practice format...

    BreakRAK for sale

I have bought one of these from ceebee. Great transaction, and if you are serious about your break, it's a great purchase. I pull it out in the pool hall, and I watch people come practice on it for 1 hour...their break speed increases by 2mph in 1 hour using it, and their accuracy goes up...

10 YEAR OLD TIME CAPSULE POST ...Is the world ready for cues to evolve?

Happy Thursday AZ! I was just looking through some old posts and found this gem. I think you'll all get a great read out of this time machine post. I just commented a couple weeks ago on how 70% of every cue on my pool team is carbon fiber shaft. Break cues, jump cues and playing cues- ALL...

    neck surgery

Yes but no time soon I just had c6/c7 fusion surgery 5 months ago. It was 2 months before I dared try to play at all and my team-mates and opponents were laughing their Asses off watching me. I had to use a bridge for many shots cuz I had to squat ...couldn't bend my neck back. I remember...

    Break cues

Amen! Amen! Breakers don't make great jumpers. Buy them separately, invest in one, then the other, then you'll have a great set. Also, I personally like phenolic for jump...but absolutely will not break with a ph notice tip. USE HARD LEATHER TIP FOR BREAK.SAMSARA OR THE LIKE
