Bullshit move by Hatch, period. There's absolutely no good reason not to shake an opponents hand. Poor sport and taints the already bad image of pool players. If I were Captain he wouldn't see the table for the remainder of the MC.
I've given up hope for this. I was told back in July of 2016 at the BCA's that it was going to roll out at the end of that event. Mike Page is a great guy. Maybe he will chime in here.

Honestly Mark the best part of the RIO for me is the the buffet at the Gold Coast. I won't be back to BCA's until it moves.

Do you cut the paper off the bottom of the chalk? I do the washer thing too but I cut off the paper in the bottom of the cube. Cover the entire bottom of the cube with the glue as well. This way the washer will never come off.

Has anyone here had any experience in a league which uses team Fargo Ratings to handicap play?
We could be looking at changing our format in our league. Currently we don't handicap and play a race to 18, 7 man/woman teams.
Thx in advance

It depends on what colour you hit. Example if you are playing a red, don't make contact with a red and hit the black instead, that would be a 7 point foul. The point value of the color. Hope that is clear..

Ronnie's 92 was the best I've seen. Then Carter breaks off in the next frame and Ronnie then proceeded to run a 141 to end the session. It was just sick.

Now this makes sense. I had a heavier weight bolt put in last July at the BCA's. This is about the time that the "miscue" sounds started. It is for sure tight at the butt end but as you say it could be at the upper end. I'm gonna have to heat up the weight bolt to get it out as I mentioned in...
New tip installed, no pad. Ferrule inspected with no damage. Put the shaft on another cue of mine and couldn't replicate the sound. It's somewhere in the butt of the cue and we can't figure it out. Very frustrating..
Thanks Dave. The weight bolt is glued in, so that's not it. I do have a bumper that isn't the tightest. I will try putting a new one in. No SS collar either. Cheers, Brian
Thanks for the reply. We will start by replacing the tip and go from there. I'm more concerned it could be in butt of the cue. I put a different shaft on it and got the same/similar sound.

Been having some issues with Jacoby Edge Shaft making a weird clicking noise when I hit firmly and when I'm using spin. Everything looks good, there's lots of tip left, but I noticed that there doesn't look like there is a fibre pad between tip and ferrel.
My question is, does the JEH shaft...
Yes it comes up quite often. I hope I'm not coming across like I'm discouraging you to get the table. It really plays well, it just has this one flaw IMO. Having said that it's by far my favorite table here..

Well, if you're asking, if it were between the Pro Am and this table. I would take the pro am, and yes the sharp corners would be a deal breaker. If the Paragon was the only choice you will love it. It really plays great.
